We exported goods worth US$ 337.81 million in 2021-2022 financial year to Malaysia against their exports to Bangladesh worth of US$ 3471.5 million in the same year. Bangladesh Government as well Ministry of Commerce take steps to reduce this gap by encouraging more Bangladesh exports to Malaysia. While private sectors have to play a major market promotion drive, the Government can undertake a proactive trade facilitation role for market promotion by the private sectors and in market access through trade concessions and removing non-tariff barriers.”

Her Excellency Haznah Md Hashim focused on the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and Malaysia. She says about how Malaysia values the economical relation between the two countries. She says “It is evident that Malaysia got so many help regarding set-up businesses and policy support from the Government led by honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and I sincerely appreciate the effort given by the BMCCI to enhance the bilateral trade”

The main objective of this Showcase is to enhance Malaysia’s image as a reliable business hub in Asia. It will also connect a good and wide network with the Bangladeshi business community through the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI).
